Nick Easter joined Harlequins from Orrell on a three-month trial, since which he has been starting regularly for Harlequins and England, and was included in the May 2007 England Tour to South Africa.

On 4 Aug 2007, Easter scored four tries as England beat Wales by a record 62-5 at Twickenham in a World Cup warm-up game.
